OUR STORY

How We Got Started And Who We Are Now

Team Tactical Foundation began as a group of soldiers, airmen, and contractors all deployed to the same place, who came together over the love of RC. We built a track on base and had military members from a bunch of different countries come out to get their minds off of the world they were in. When the deployment came to an end, many of us kept in touch and started a 3d printing company called Team Tactical RC. We designed new items to add to the array of customization that an RC enthusiast had access to. That company grew faster and bigger than we ever expected.

Due to that success, we decided to form Team Tactical Foundation. This new branch is a non-profit and our sole goal is to support military veterans and nominated, deserving children through RC.

Speaking from experience, coming back from deployment can be just as stressful as going. And depending on the deployment, returning home can be a very big and tough adjustment. So by supporting those vets through RC, we give them a hobby, something to focus their thoughts on, and the opportunity to be part of a community that is incredibly supportive.
Our secondary goal, just as important as supporting vets, is growing the RC community by giving away brand new RC trucks to deserving kids who are nominated through this website. Getting kids hooked on a hands-on hobby will keep them busy, out of trouble, and will ensure that the RC hobby sticks around for a very long time.
